Sharon Wells, CYT, E-RYT

Sharon Wells is a Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Teacher. Sharon danced professionally until the age of 34 when a hamstring injury ended her career in 1998. She tried Karate and practiced many different forms of Yoga to help fill the void, but it was only after she discovered Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga in 2000, that everything changed within her. She found she loved the structure and discipline, the sweat and spirituality, the way to “heal” through a physical practice. Sharon says, “I love that Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga raises the heart rate, after practicing the body is wrung out like a wet towel, your legs feel like wet noodles, you feel as though you just ran a marathon, and your skin glows as if you had just had a facial; everything looks brighter and better.”

Sharon owns WHYoga Studios in Hershey, PA, where she is the only Certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher in that area. She is excited to have her own studio to inspire others to discover their POWER, discover Baptiste Power Vinyasa YOGA and discover WHY!

Sharon is also certified in Thai Yoga Massage and she has completed her 400 hr training required to become an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) with Yoga Alliance.

Kay Corpus

Kay Corpus first discovered yoga almost 10 years ago while in medical school. Initially she began to take yoga classes as a way to relieve physical tension and reduce fatigue. Surprised and intrigued, she found something more profound--inner peace and stillness--which was seemingly impossible to find at the time. Her yoga teacher, diagnosed with Crohn's disease, strongly endorsed not only the calming effects of yoga, but also its healing properties. He attested that his ten year daily yoga practice, combined with wholesome living kept him virtually disease-free. He proved that yoga and other holistic therapies, over aggressive interventions and pharmaceuticals, could be a powerful healing tool. This fascinated Kay as this was unlike anything that was taught in the classroom. From then on, she knew that it was her calling to approach medicine this way.

Over the years Kay has has done many styles of yoga, including Bikram and Ashtanga, but has found Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga to be as spiritually deepening as it is physically challenging. It has been a long-time dream of hers to teach yoga, but was waiting to find the style and teacher that truly resonated with her.

After taking classes from Sharon Wells, she knew that this was home. Recently she completed the Power Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training with her. Kay is a board-certified family physician. She practices Integrative Family Medicine in Phoenixville, PA as well as is on faculty at the Department of Family Medicine at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. Last November, she graduated from the Fellowship Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil.
